CAPEX Controller

CAPEX Controller | Munich

An international manufacturing group is looking for a CAPEX Controller to lead investment planning across its companies. You’ll steer group-wide capital decisions and own the financial side of a major SAP S/4HANA programme, working closely with finance, IT and international teams.

The role:

• Consolidate group investment planning, including budgets, forecasts and medium-term plans.
• Assess investment requests and their business cases using ROI, NPV and payback analysis.
• Analyse variances against plan and recommend next steps.
• Prepare decision papers for senior management.
• Develop investment policies and processes.
• Manage and monitor the S/4HANA programme budget, and help shape planning and reporting in the new SAP environment.

What you’ll need:

• Three to five years in controlling, ideally investment or project controlling.
• A degree in business, economics, industrial engineering or similar.
• Solid experience with budgets, forecasts and investment appraisals.
• SAP knowledge (FI, CO or PS preferred) and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Fluent German and English.
• An analytical, independent working style and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
