What they need
Merri Makers Caterers is seeking experienced and hospitality-driven Captain Servers to join our team at Bonnet & Mallard Island Estate. Captain Servers will lead service teams and help ensure exceptional guest experiences at weddings and private events.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct servers during events
- Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown
- Coordinate with kitchen, event management, and venue staff
- Ensure professional and timely food and beverage service
- Monitor guest needs and address requests professionally
- Conduct pre-event meetings and communicate service expectations
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and service standards
- Serve as a leader and point of contact for the service team
Qualifications
- Previous server, captain, banquet, catering, or hospitality experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Wedding, catering, or fine-dining experience preferred

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
