Trial Runs & Consistent Loads

New carrier relationships may begin with trial runs to ensure that the carrier, equipment, lanes, communication, and dispatch process are a good fit.

After successful trial runs and demonstrated reliability, qualified carriers may be considered for more consistent and recurring load opportunities based on equipment availability, performance, preferred lanes, and freight demand.

Our goal is to build long-term relationships with dependable car haulers, rather than simply finding a one-time load.

Important Information

This is an independent contractor / owner-operator opportunity, not a company-driver position.

Truckinn Cargo does not guarantee a specific number of loads, revenue, rates, miles, or dedicated lanes. Freight availability depends on market conditions, carrier qualifications, equipment, location, performance, customer demand, and available freight.

Carriers remain responsible for their equipment, operating authority, insurance, safety compliance, fuel, maintenance, permits, taxes, and all other costs associated with operating their business.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial car-hauling equipment, including applicable tractor-trailer combinations, to transport vehicles to designated destinations.
• Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment and procedures.
• Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and promptly report equipment or safety issues.
• Plan routes using GPS/navigation tools while considering traffic, weather, road conditions, and delivery requirements.
• Communicate with Truckinn Cargo dispatch regarding pickup, delivery, delays, breakdowns, and other issues.
• Communicate professionally with brokers, customers, dealerships, auctions, and other pickup/delivery locations as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, bills of lading, vehicle condition reports, fuel records, and other required paperwork.
• Comply with applicable DOT, FMCSA, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain the vehicle and trailer in safe operating condition.
• Complete assigned loads according to agreed pickup and delivery requirements.
