Car Mechanic

Job Summary

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and completing routine maintenance to ensure every vehicle meets our high standards for performance and safety. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, a hands-on approach and a genuine passion for the automotive industry.

Duties

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out necessary repairs
• Complete routine servicing and maintenance, including oil changes, tyre rotations and brake inspections
• Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble vehicle components as needed
• Utilise power tools, hand tools, and schematics to complete repairs effectively
• Work closely with the wider team to maintain an efficient workflow and ensure repairs are completed on time
• Ability to also work on electric vehicles, including diagnostics, maintenance and repairs

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in automotive systems
• Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

Requirements

• Level 2 Advanced Light Vehicle Technician qualification
• Valid UK driving license
• Own set of tools
