Car Multimedia Engineer

About the role

Responsible for planning, designing, developing, and evaluating in-vehicle multimedia and telematics components. The role coordinates development activities with internal and external stakeholders, supports regulatory and certification compliance, prepares engineering documentation, and investigates post-launch product issues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, and evaluate car multimedia and telematics components.
• Manage development projects with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Review certification and regulatory requirements related to automotive electronic components.
• Prepare and verify electronic-part drawings and other required engineering documents.
• Collect and summarize technical data, and prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office.
• Use CAD and wiring-design software to support component and system development.
• Conduct product benchmarking and translate findings into development insights.
• Investigate and coordinate corrective actions for issues identified after product launch.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a closely related engineering field. (GPA > 2.50)
• New graduates are welcomed.
• Good command of English with a TOEIC score of more than 600.
• Clear communication and effective teamwork.
• Sound decision-making and structured problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivation, logical thinking, and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to coordinate work across multiple stakeholders and follow engineering documentation requirements.
• Valid driving licence (advantageous).
• Experience or academic exposure in embedded-system design and programming (advantageous).
• Familiarity with CAD, wiring design, automotive electronics, multimedia, or telematics systems (advantageous).
