Position Summary

We are expanding our regional team and seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support our growing customer base across Indiana, Kentucky, and Western Ohio. In this role, you will diagnose, service, and repair industry-leading Car-O-Liner branded equipment directly at customer locations. Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Service & Repair: Troubleshoot, service, and repair Car-O-Liner systems, including Spot/MIG/MAG Welders, riveting tools, electronic measuring systems, frame straightening equipment, and dent repair tools.
• Customer Support: Perform high-quality field repairs, maintain service vehicle parts inventory, and provide excellent support to customer inquiries.
• Proactive Maintenance: Perform shop visits during downtime to inspect equipment, suggest preventive maintenance, and ensure client safety.
• Territory Coverage: Efficiently navigate major market routes across Indiana, Kentucky, and Western Ohio.

Work Schedule & Travel Details

• Schedule: Monday – Friday (40 hours per week plus overtime availability). No weekends!
• Travel: 1–2 weeks per month of overnight travel expected within the territory.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic abilities, basic electrical skills, and familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance. Welding experience is a strong plus.
• Industry Passion: Genuine interest in cars and the automotive/collision repair industry.
• Communication: Proficient in English with strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
• Requirements: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across a large geographical territory.

Benefits & Compensation

• Competitive Pay: $25.00 – $30.00/hr starting rate based on experience.
