City RV Wagga, part of the JB Group dealer network, is seeking a reliable and motivated Service Technician to join our growing team in Wagga Wagga.

JB Caravans is a respected Australian caravan manufacturer, recognised for producing quality caravans designed and built for Australian conditions. As an authorised dealership, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional workmanship, customer service and after-sales support.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a mechanical or trade background who enjoys hands-on work but is looking for a cleaner, more comfortable workshop environment with a variety of interesting jobs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general caravan servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Inspect and maintain brakes, bearings, suspension systems and other mechanical components
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing faults
• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and preparation of new caravans
• Install and fit caravan accessories, including solar systems, batteries, diesel heaters, inverters and water systems
• Perform general repairs, adjustments and maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of workmanship

Skills & Experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude, ideally with experience in automotive, mechanical, caravan or a related trade
• Experience with general servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude, reliability and pride in your workmanship
• Current driver's licence essential

Previous caravan industry experience is highly regarded but not essential. We welcome applications from automotive mechanics, mechanical tradespeople and technically minded individuals looking to transfer their skills into a different industry.
