Cardiac CT Technologist

The CT Technologist performs high-quality imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort while collaborating within a care team.

Responsibilities Include

• Operating imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques to optimize diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Preparing and maintaining equipment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Obtaining clinical history, verifying patient identity, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety using AIDET.
• Administering contrast agents and positioning patients accurately.
• Reviewing images for quality, repeating scans when necessary, and documenting procedures accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Monitoring patient conditions, responding to emergencies, and supporting safety protocols.
• Organizing workflow, supporting department operations, and maintaining a clean, organized environment.

Qualifications Include

• High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum of 1-year radiology experience.
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications, along with BLS certification.
