Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation based on experience

Austin CardioVascular Clinic is looking for a Texas-licensed RN or LVN to join our clinical team. We are seeking a dependable, compassionate nurse who enjoys patient interaction and working closely with physicians to provide quality cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with medication questions, concerns, and refill requests.
• Communicate patient symptoms and clinical concerns to physicians and assist with appropriate follow-up.
• Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans, and procedures.
• Coordinate and schedule cardiology procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Assist with pre- and post-procedure care and instructions.
• Review and document clinical information, test results, and patient communications.
• Maintain accurate documentation in athenahealth.
• Work closely with physicians and the clinical team to ensure patients receive timely and appropriate care.
• Surgical recovery and patient management on procedures days.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN or LVN license.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred, but not required:

• 2+ years of nursing experience.
• Cardiology experience.
• Outpatient clinic experience.
• Experience with medication management and patient education.
• Familiarity with athenahealth or another EMR.
• OBL/Cath Lab experience
