Duties

• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and vascular ultrasound imaging to evaluate cardiac and vascular structures with precision and clarity.
• Analyze cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and physiological data to support accurate diagnostics and treatment planning.
• Operate sophisticated medical equipment including Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for image storage, retrieval, and sharing.
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques during invasive procedures, ensuring patient safety and infection control standards are upheld.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and medical staff to provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cardiovascular ultrasound imaging, including echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, and cardiac diagnostics.
• Knowledge of cardiac physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology essential for accurate interpretation of images and reports.
• Strong understanding of aseptic techniques, vital signs monitoring, and emergency medicine practices relevant to cardiovascular care.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to diagnostic evaluation in fast-paced healthcare settings.

We are looking for a technician who can perform echocardiograms every Tuesday for a solo cardiologist/cardiac electrophysiologist. Will pay $50.00/echo.

Pay: $90.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5.0 per week
