Cardiovascular Technologist

Position Overview This role involves assisting with a variety of technical procedures such as percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, as well as open surgical procedures, under physician supervision. Responsibilities include

• performing high-quality patient care and imaging within the CathDiagnostic Imaging Department
• obtaining optimal radiographs
• assisting physicians in an aseptic environment
• monitoring patients and responding to changes in condition
• maintaining knowledge of cardiovascular equipment and supplies
• being available for on-call shifts as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a two-year invasive cardiovascular program or completed a formal Radiologic Technologist program
• Certification upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or equivalent
• Licensed or certified in relevant radiologic or cardiovascular specialties
• CPR and ACLS certification

Preferred Experience

• One year cath lab experience
• Six months imaging experience
