Cardiovascular Technologist - Per Diem

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating ShiftDescription: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for experienced per diem Cardiovascular Technologists to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team!

Shift: per diem, mixed shift, 10hr shifts, Occasional on call/holidays/weekends, based on department needs

The Cardiovascular Technologist will be responsible for assisting the Physician during procedures, analyzes hemodynamics and EKG, removes sheaths, and uses sterile technique to set up laboratory.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• First assist supporting physicians at procedure table for cardiac caths diagnostic and intervention
• Ability to scrub into procedures
• Peripheral procedures diagnostic and interventions
• Pace maker insertions

Requirements:

• Associates degree required. Completion of a certified vascular technician program preferred.
• AHA ACLS and BLS
• ARRT and/or RCIS required
