Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
• Support medication administration under supervision, following proper protocols and safety procedures
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed to promote health and well-being
• Engage residents in social activities and companionship to enhance their mental and emotional health
• Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe, hygienic living environment
• Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff promptly
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their safety and comfort

Skills

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly valued
• Strong understanding of senior care practices and caregiving techniques
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care needs is preferred
• Ability to administer medications accurately following established procedures
• Excellent communication skills to connect empathetically with residents and team members
• Capable of performing light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ independence and quality of life
