Care & Support Worker

Company Overview

D R & C Private Home Care is a dedicated provider of domiciliary care services based in Leicester. We require an additional part-time worker to support clients living in the Evington area. You will be part of a team providing personal care services to, and supporting our clients to live independently in their own homes.

You will

• Provide support and assistance to individuals as outlined in their care plan
• Support individuals with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and continence care
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and the safe use of equipment in line with training and risk assessments
• Prepare meals and drinks, support appropriate nutrition and hydration, and follow dietary requirements
• Help individuals develop and maintain independent living skills
• Support individuals in participating in community activities and social events
• Document and report daily activities and any changes in behaviour
• Work respectfully with relatives, advocates, health professionals, colleagues, and other support services
• Follow safeguarding, infection prevention, health and safety, equality, confidentiality, and data-protection requirements

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week

Experience:

• care: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)

• United Kingdom (required)
