Allt Y Mynydd Nursing Home sits in 17 acres of privategrounds in Brechfa Forest, with stunning views across the Duar Valley fromalmost every bedroom and communal area. The house is home to no more than 44elderly men and women requiring nursing, residential and dementia care. Ourhome focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care andensuring residents and their families feel supported and respected.

The Role

We are seeking a kind and compassionate Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will support residents with daily living activities, promoting independence, dignity, and comfort. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and support to residents in line with individual care plans.
• Assist with meals and fluids, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers as per their care plan.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and engagement to promote wellbeing.
• Ensure residents' privacy, dignity, and respect are upheld at all times.

• Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Have a positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
