Care Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to individuals in their homes . The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents' comfort, and promoting their wellbeing. Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support individuals with mobility and daily activities in accordance with their care plans
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions
• Promote independence and dignity while encouraging participation in social activities.
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure personalised care delivery
• Drive or accompany residents on outings or appointments when required (driving licence preferred)
• Contribute to the development and review of individualised care plans to meet specific needs

Skills

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
• Good IT skills for maintaining records and documentation
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a care home or home care environment
• Basic driving skills; a valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of residents or clients
