Care Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of those we serve. Responsibilities

• Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, always respecting their dignity and preferences
• Follow personalized care plans to meet individual needs and promote independence
• Support medication management by reminding or assisting with prescribed treatments, under supervision
• Maintain clear and open communication with residents, families, and team members to ensure seamless care coordination
• Use IT systems efficiently to document care activities, update records, and track progress accurately
• Drive company vehicles when necessary for home care visits or outings, ensuring safety at all times
• Contribute to creating a friendly, safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly

Requirements

• Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for travel between locations or client homes
• Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to understand care plans and interact confidently with residents
• Basic IT skills for updating electronic records and documentation accurately
• Strong communication skills to build trustful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
• Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being

Pay: £12.71-£18.62 per hour
