Transportation and tutoring are some of the amazing services we offer and Respite Care Assistants may be assigned to do. Our services are tailored around our client's needs and goals, giving them the confidence and support to pursue their dreams.

This position consists of a Monday through Saturday schedule with mornings, afternoons and some evenings. Experience working with individuals diagnosed with a disability in an ABA center, group home or other professional setting is a must. There will be more opportunities for overtime as we expand our network.

Duties:

• Provide direct care to individuals in a public setting
• Monitor and document changes in clients' status
• Implement behavior management techniques for individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment

Experience:

-A valid driver's license and vehicle is required

• Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities in a group home, hospital or ABA/clinical setting is required
• Familiarity with childcare practices and techniques

-Knowledge of ABA terms and familiarity with the jargon is preferred

• Ability to advocate for client rights
• CPR certification is required First Aid certification a plus
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality

This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality care to individuals in need. The caregiver must have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail. The ability to adapt to changing situations and handle challenging behaviors is also essential.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
