Care Assistant

Job Summary
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in care homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. This position requires compassion, patience, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and the staff at the home you will be attending.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging them to participate in daily activities.
• Follow care plans meticulously to ensure that each client's specific needs are met.
• Communicate regularly with healthcare professionals and family members regarding the client's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Document daily activities and any changes in the client's condition accurately.

Skills

• Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
• Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• Fluency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

This Role is as an Agency Care Assistant and will be a zero hour contract.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
