Care Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for caring, reliable and compassionate individuals to join our team as Care Assistants / Support Workers to work Monday-Sundays.

You will support adults in their own homes and help them live safely and independently.

Minimum of 6 months experience in care is required.

Main Duties

• Support with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
• Assist with medication
• Prepare meals and drinks
• Support with mobility and use of equipment
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Complete light domestic tasks
• Support adults with dementia, physical disabilities, sensory impairment, mental health needs and end-of-life needs
• Keep clear and accurate care records
• Report concerns promptly to the office

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 6 months experience in care (domiciliary, care home, supported living or hospital)
• A caring and patient attitude
• Good communication skills
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Able to work independently
• Driving licence and own car is a must

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months professional care experience
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS check (completed by us)
• Two professional references
• Willing to complete training and shadowing shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Zero hours contract

Pay: £13.50-£17.00 per hour
