Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and personal well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Help prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating/drinking where needed.
- Administer or prompt medication according to care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in daily activities.
- Perform light housekeeping duties (e.g., laundry, tidying, light cleaning).
- Keep accurate daily care records and report any changes in health or behavior.
Requirements
- A genuine desire to help others and make a positive difference.
- Strong communication skills and an empathetic, patient nature.
- Ability to pass a background check / DBS check.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Previous experience in care or relevant certifications.
Pay: £17.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
