JOB SUMMARY

Passionate Care Assistants - immediate start

We are looking for Care Assistants to join our homes in Lincoln and Woodhall Spa.

If you are kind, reliable and you turn up when you say you will, we can teach you the rest. You will help our residents through their day - washing and dressing, personal care, meals, medication rounds with a senior, and most importantly the company. Having the patience and sitting down with someone and listening, makes all the difference.

We are a family-owned group, not a national chain. You will be known by your name here, and if you want to train up to Senior we will pay for it.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help residents with personal care - washing, dressing, toileting - with patience and dignity.
• Support residents at mealtimes and make sure they are eating and drinking enough.
• Help people move safely, using the equipment you will be trained on.
• Spend time with residents. Talk to them, sit with them, join in with activities.
• Notice when someone is not themselves and tell a senior straight away.
• Keep clear, honest notes about the care you have given.
• Make families welcome when they visit.
• Work with the rest of your shift as a team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

• Kindness and patience. This matters more than just experience.
• Reliability - our residents and your team need to know you will be there.
• Willingness to complete your Care Certificate and Level 2 Diploma, which we pay for.
• Enough written English to complete care records accurately.
• Right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Previous care experience, paid or unpaid - including caring for family.
• Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Dementia care experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Pay: From £12.80 per hour
