Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will support clients with their daily routines, promote their well-being, and ensure they feel valued and respected in their own homes or care settings. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help create a positive environment where clients can thrive.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming while respecting their privacy and dignity
• Support clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence and comfort
• Follow individual care plans carefully to meet each client’s specific needs and preferences
• Maintain clear communication with clients, families, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
• Document care activities accurately using IT systems and update care plans as needed
• Encourage social interaction and mental stimulation through conversation and engaging activities
• Support clients with medication reminders or administration under supervision if qualified

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a care home or home care environment is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided
• Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
• Valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving travel between client locations
• Basic IT skills for documentation and updating care records efficiently
• A caring attitude with excellent listening skills and empathy towards others
• Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and adhere to health and safety guidelines

Pay: £12.71-£15.75 per hour
