At Hollymount Care Home, we're more than a team, we're a family. And right now, we're looking for a caring, dedicated Care Assistant to join us on a full-time basis, supporting our wonderful residents during the day.

What a Day Looks Like:

Your shift begins at 8am with a handover from the night team. They'll update you on how everyone has slept and let you know what's planned for the day. After that, you'll be helping residents start their morning. Whether that's getting washed and dressed, enjoying breakfast together, or simply chatting over a cup of tea.

No two days are ever the same, but your role might include:

• Providing personal care and emotional support throughout the day
• Helping residents get up in the morning and ready for the day ahead
• Supporting residents at mealtimes and with drinks and snacks
• Joining in with activities, from games and gentle exercise to time in the lounge or garden
• Welcoming visitors and helping residents stay connected with their loved ones
• Responding to residents' needs, from mobility support to a listening ear
• Keeping communal areas clean, safe, and welcoming

No Experience? No Problem.

If you've never worked in care before, don't worry. We'll provide full training and ongoing support to help you feel confident in your role. What matters most is your natural kindness and your commitment to making a difference.

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 48.0 per week
