Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
• Document care provided accurately in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
• Empathy and compassion to understand the needs of individuals requiring care.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to care services is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
