Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
• Follow individual care plans meticulously to deliver tailored support that meets each person’s unique needs
• Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required
• Maintain clear, respectful communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
• Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and track progress accurately
• Drive clients safely to appointments or outings when necessary, ensuring adherence to road safety protocols
• Promote a positive environment by engaging clients in social activities and encouraging independence

Experience

• Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
• Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Basic IT literacy for documentation and accessing electronic care plans
• Valid driving license and experience driving safely are preferred for roles involving transportation of clients
• Ability to work flexibly across different shifts including days, evenings, or weekends as needed

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
