Duties

• Assist residents or clients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
• Support the implementation and review of individual care plans to meet specific needs and preferences
• Maintain clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Drive between care locations or client homes as needed to provide home care services efficiently and reliably
• Use IT systems to document care activities accurately, update records, and track progress in line with organizational standards
• Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly
• Encourage social engagement and activities that enhance mental well-being and community involvement

Qualifications

• Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for home care duties (nice-to-have)
• Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding of care plans and instructions
• Basic IT skills for documentation and record keeping purposes
• Strong communication skills to build rapport with residents, families, and team members
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
• Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and adapt to individual needs
