Care Assistant – Domiciliary CareWorking Hours – Monday to Friday

We are recruiting a Care Assistant who is available to attend daily visits, Monday to Friday, at the following times:

• Morning Visit: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Evening Visit: 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to individuals in their own home, ensuring their wellbeing, comfort, and independence. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring personalised needs are met effectively.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a friendly environment.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding where necessary.
• Monitor and report any changes in the health or behaviour of clients to senior staff.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies.
• Support clients with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Assist with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

Skills

• Good communication skills in English, with the ability to listen attentively and convey information clearly.
• Strong organisational skills to follow care plans accurately and maintain detailed records.
• IT literacy for documentation and communication purposes.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and respect towards clients.
• Experience working within a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Reliable and committed to attending the scheduled morning and evening visits, Monday to Friday.

Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
