Pay Rate: £12.80 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Rota: 3-week rolling rota – 1 weekend in 3

About Long Meadow Care Home

Long Meadow Care Home is looking for a caring, reliable and compassionate Care Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will work as part of the care team to provide safe, respectful and person-centred support to our residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Assisting residents with meals, drinks and maintaining good hydration.
• Promoting residents' dignity, privacy, independence, choice and wellbeing.
• Developing positive and respectful relationships with residents and their families.
• Supporting residents to participate in meaningful activities and maintain their interests.
• Working closely with colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide consistent, high-quality care.
• Following individual care plans and agreed ways of working.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date care documentation and records.
• Recognising and reporting changes in residents' health, wellbeing or behaviour.
• Following all relevant care home policies, procedures and safeguarding requirements.
• Promoting a safe, clean and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues.

Previous care experience is desirable but is not essential. Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
