Care Attendant

About the Role

Care Attendants are part of our front line team that provide care services to our residents. The role has many competing needs and requires the ultimate all rounder who can maintain focus regardless of the challenges thrown at them. You will enjoy building strong relationships with residents, their families and your colleagues to ensure exceptional service levels.

Duties Include

• Maintain a clean environment for residents including common areas and amenities
• Managing laundry for residents
• Assisting with daily meal preparation, service and delivery
• Food service at resident events and functions
• Personal care services
• Emergency on call service
• Medication support
• Assisting residents with daily living activities
• Provision of first aid

About You

• Demonstrated experience providing exceptional customer service
• Flexible and have availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and sleepover
• Satisfactory National Police Clearance
• Certificate III in Personal Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Current first aid certificate with CPR

Hours of work

• Roster 7:00am - 9:00pm - 7 days a week with a passive sleepover
• Afternoon, night shift and weekend work

Conditions of Employment

It is a condition of employment that you receive the seasonal flu vaccination each year unless a medical exemption is provided.
