Care Coordinator – Domiciliary Care

ANA Homecare Ltd – Located in Finchley, North London

Salary: £25,500 - £28,500 pr year

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm plus on-call rota

Contract: Permanent, based in Finchley

About us

ANA Homecare has been supporting people in their own homes across London for over 20 years. We're rated Good by the CQC, and we work with NHS North West London ICB and several London boroughs, including Haringey, Hackney, Brent and Islington. We provide personal care to adults in domiciliary, supported lodging and supported living settings.

We're a team that cares about getting it right for the people we support and for our carers. We're now looking for an organised, calm and caring Care Coordinator to join our office team.

The role

As a Care Coordinator, you'll be the link between our clients, their families, our carers and the local authorities we work with. You'll make sure every visit is covered, on time and done properly. Day to day, you'll:

  • Plan and manage carer rotas so every client gets the right support at the right time
  • Cover sickness, holidays and last-minute changes, often at short notice
  • Keep in regular contact with clients, families and social workers
  • Keep records accurate and up to date on our care management system (PASS)
  • Support new carers and help them settle in
  • Flag any concerns about a client's wellbeing or safety to the Registered Manager
  • Take part in the on-call rota

What we're looking for

  • Experience coordinating or scheduling in domiciliary care (essential)
  • An understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding
  • Strong organisation, and the ability to stay calm when things change quickly
  • Clear, kind communication, whether you're speaking to a carer, a client or a commissioner
  • Confidence using computers and care software
  • The right to work in the UK and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check

What we offer

  • A competitive salary of £25,500 – £28,500 depending on experience
  • Paid holiday and pension
  • Ongoing training and support to develop your career
  • A small friendly, experienced team that values your work
  • The chance to make a real difference to people's lives every day
