You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment through efficient cleaning practices, supporting the overall health and safety of our care community.

Duties

• Perform daily commercial cleaning tasks throughout the care home, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting all communal areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and corridors
• Ensure all high-touch surfaces are sanitized regularly to prevent the spread of infections.
• Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all equipment is in good working order
• Follow health and safety protocols diligently to uphold hygiene standards and prevent accidents
• Support with waste disposal procedures in accordance with environmental policies
• Collaborate with care staff to coordinate cleaning schedules around residents’ activities to minimize disruption

Experience

• Previous experience preferred
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and hygiene standards within care settings
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Good communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and report any maintenance issues or concerns

Pay: £12.71 per hour
