Job Summary

Duties

• Lead the overall management of the care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices in Residential and dementia care
• Develop, implement, and regularly review personalised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia-specific strategies
• Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership, training, and supervision
• Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety, accuracy, and adherence to legal requirements
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth delivery of care home services
• Monitor daily operations including admissions, discharges, staffing schedules, and resource management
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and care quality standards
• Monitor and carry inhouse quality audits and monitor the progress of the care delivery

Skills

• Proven experience in Residential home environments with a strong understanding of elderly/ Dementia care principles
• Demonstrated leadership skills with successful supervising or management experience within a care home setting
• Extensive knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care strategies, and managing complex care needs
• Skilled in developing comprehensive care plans that address individual health requirements and preferences
• Competent in medication administration procedures ensuring safety and compliance with legal regulations
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and team members
• Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail in managing care documentation and regulatory audits
• Management qualification and understanding of CQC Regulations

Pay: £35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
