The Role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Care Manager to help lead our Care Inspectorate registered service on a day-to-day basis.

This is a hands-on role combining care management, team leadership, compliance and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing rotas, care delivery and staff allocation across DD5 and wider Dundee
• Completing initial assessments, person-centred care plans and risk assessments
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and families
• Supervising, mentoring and supporting the Care Team
• Maintaining compliance with Care Inspectorate, SSSC and Health & Social Care Standards
• Conducting spot checks, supervisions, reviews and quality audits
• Managing concerns and complaints professionally and promptly
• Supporting recruitment and onboarding

Customer Service Matters

We are looking for someone who understands that families are trusting us with the people most important to them.

You'll communicate warmly, follow through on promises and make sure clients and families feel heard and supported. You'll notice the small details, proactively address problems and handle difficult conversations with empathy, professionalism and calm.

If you have experience in hospitality, retail or customer service alongside care, we'd particularly love to hear from you.

About You

You will ideally have:

• Experience within domiciliary care at Senior, Coordinator or Manager level
• SVQ Level 4 / SCQF Level 9, or be working towards this
• SSSC registration
• PVG membership
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car
• Good knowledge of Dundee and the DD5 area
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• A compassionate, proactive and solution-focused approach
