Care Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team in providing exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and comfort. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
• Provide patient care including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring under supervision or as trained
• Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutrition management to meet dietary needs
• Engage in behavior management techniques for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s to ensure a calm and supportive environment
• Drive clients to appointments, errands, or social activities safely and responsibly when required
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, health changes, and incident reports
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe living environment

Experience

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice care, and senior care practices is advantageous
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is desirable
• Experience with medication administration and behavior management techniques is beneficial
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for caregiving duties
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for transportation responsibilities are preferred
• Strong communication skills and a caring attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
