Duties

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
• Administer medication accurately following prescribed instructions and maintain detailed medication records
• Support patients with specialized care needs including Alzheimer’s, dementia, hospice, and behavioral management strategies
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
• Provide compassionate patient care by monitoring health status, reporting changes, and supporting emotional well-being
• Drive clients to appointments or errands safely when required, ensuring timely transportation
• Engage in light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents or clients

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of patient care techniques including medication administration and behavior management
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, hospice support, and senior care best practices
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation duties
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting with mobility or transfers
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire
• Strong communication skills with a caring attitude towards clients of all ages, including children if applicable
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 36.0 per week
