Care U Care Ltd is looking for dedicated, compassionate and reliable English-speaking Care Workers to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.

About the Role

As a Care Worker, you will play an important role in improving the quality of life of older people and individuals with a range of care and support needs, including Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

You will provide person-centred care, practical assistance, companionship and emotional support while promoting dignity, independence and choice.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care.
• Support individuals with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility.
• Support with meal preparation and maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment.
• Administer and support with medication in accordance with care plans, policies and training.
• Monitor individuals’ wellbeing and report any concerns to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
• Provide respectful and person-centred care.
• Communicate effectively with service users, families and other professionals in English.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments, safeguarding procedures and company policies.
• Promote dignity, privacy, independence and choice at all times.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for Care Workers who are:

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Compassionate, patient and respectful.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Able to communicate effectively with service users, families and colleagues.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care.
• Understanding of the needs of older people and individuals living with dementia or other care needs.
• Willing to complete relevant training.
