Career Development Officer in the Student Development Services (Appointment for 7 months) [Ref. T/172/26]

Duties

1. Coordinate and implement graduate employment support initiatives;
2. Lead and coordinate job solicitation and matching activities with external organisations and internal units;
3. Develop workflows and guidelines for executing internal placement arrangements; liaise with internal units and stakeholders on the related processes.
4. Consolidate external job opportunities and internal placement opportunities.
5. Work closely with career consultants to support graduates’ job search and facilitate job matching processes;
6. Monitor and track graduate placement outcomes and employment status;
7. Coordinate the administration, verification, and processing of placement sponsorships and reimbursements;
8. Maintain and consolidate placement data, prepare reports and analyses;
9. Coach junior team members on project implementation and daily operations; and
10. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 to 5 years' relevant working experience, preferably in career services administration, student development, talent acquisition/development, or HR/ recruitment functions (including campus or graduate recruitment);
2. Prior experience in recruitment, employer engagement or career-related initiatives would be an advantage;
3. Knowledge/skills in social media promotion would be an advantage;
4. Being a team player with excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills, and strong stakeholder engagement ability;
5. Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams effectively;
6. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); and
7. Proficiency in computer applications (such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are required.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
