JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Career Development Support Personnel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• NH DOE Paraprofessional certification
• Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators training completion or the equivalent
• Experience preferred but not required

**REPORTS TO:**KHS Special Education Coordinator and KHS Principal

**JOB GOAL:**To provide special education students access to and support at career opportunities as identified in Individual Education Plans.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Job recruitment
• Community/business relationship building
• Job site review
• On the job training and support of employee and employer
• Collaboration with transition coordinator (Job Prep teacher) to assign partners with students
• Participate in job coaching trainings with students

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: In accordance with Conway School District Non-Union Staff Personnel Policies.

**WORK YEAR:**207 day position (187 day/school year; 20 day/school vacation weeks)

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Conway School Board’s policy on evaluation of Professional Personnel. The KHS Special Education Coordinator, KHS Principal and/or administrative designee will be the evaluator(s).
