• Analyze abends (errors) in jobs and fix issues in code.

• Provide production support to keep systems running smoothly.

• Testing

• Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

• Documentation

• Prepare technical documents, test cases, and job runbooks.

• Work in Teams

• Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and project managers.

• Attend daily calls and follow Agile/Scrum practices if required.

• Modernization and Integration (Optional)

• Integrate mainframe systems with modern web services (REST/SOAP).

• Use tools like Git, Jenkins, and IDz if part of modernization projects.
