Career Orientation Internship Dual Study Program Computer Science (m/f/d)

Bremen

Your Task

Would you like to find out whether computer science is for you? With us, you can try out just that! As one of Europe's biggest telecommunications brands, we open the doors to our world for you. During your career orientation internship, we'll show you how diverse computer science can be — and that it's not just about programming, but also about teamwork, creative thinking and developing solutions that shape the digital future.

This is what you can expect:

• An internship buddy who accompanies you throughout the internship, shows you everyday life and is always there to answer your questions
• Exciting insights into the dual study program in computer science and everyday working life
• An individual process that is based on your interests
• Personal tips for your further orientation and application phase
• Our internship app with interactive content and learning opportunities

Your Profile

With us, you are the focus! Your internship is your chance to try out new things, ask questions and find out what you enjoy — without any previous knowledge. We let you take a look behind the scenes, give you exciting insights and are by your side as you discover your strengths.

To take a look behind the scenes with us, you should bring the following:

• You are aiming for a high school diploma or a comparable school leaving certificate
• Do you find math or computer science exciting — or simply want to try out whether you like software development and programming
• You enjoy working in a team and are open to learning new things
• You would like to see how we at Telekom develop software, operate systems and what everyday work looks like in a large company

Benefits

We'll take you into the world of Magenta Telekom, show you how we work and share current projects with you.

The best part: Our employees, trainees or dual students take you into their everyday lives, share their experiences with you and give you real insights — you might even discover your future career in the process.

Students can complete these types of internships with us for professional orientation:

• Compulsory internship in general education schools (no minimum age, max. internship duration: 1-3 weeks)
• Compulsory school internship vocational school (no minimum age, max. internship duration: 3 months)
• Voluntary orientation internship during school holidays (minimum age: 15 years, max. internship duration: 4 weeks)

Important: Please indicate the desired period in your application and — if it is a mandatory internship — upload the proof directly.

Application period: To ensure that your internship with us is not only good, but really good, we need a bit of advance notice. In this way, we can work together to find the right area of employment for you and prepare everything optimally. Therefore, apply at least 6 months and at least 2 months before your desired start date. Please note: Whether the internship can actually take place always depends on whether a suitable area of employment is available in the desired period of time.

Our career orientation internship is aimed exclusively at students. Are you looking for an internship for students? Then find out more .

We look forward to receiving your application — regardless of whether you already know exactly where you want to go or are simply curious.
