Career Planner

• Provide career planning, counseling, and individualized support to youth ages 16–24.
• Assess participants' interests, skills, education, employment goals, and barriers to success.
• Develop individualized career and employment plans.
• Assist participants with job searches, applications, resumes, interviews, and workplace readiness.
• Connect youth with education, vocational training, internships, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities.
• Maintain accurate participant records, case notes, and required program documentation.
• Conduct outreach and follow-up with participants to encourage engagement and successful outcomes.
• Build relationships with employers, training providers, schools, and community organizations.
• Provide supportive services and referrals to help participants overcome barriers to employment and education.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings, community events, and other program activities as required.

Required Qualifications Experience working with youth, young adults, workforce development, career services, case management, education, or a related field.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.
• Spanish-speaking ability is strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or similar computer applications.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete documentation in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel locally to meet with participants, employers, partners, and community organizations as needed.

Pay: $49,920.00 - $52,000.00 per year
