Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
• Plan and implement engaging activities that support childhood development, early childhood education, and behavioral management.
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times while maintaining a safe environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns.
• Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child safety or well-being.
• Administer first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of those in your care.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet individual needs and fostering inclusive participation.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
• Prior childcare experience in daycare settings, babysitting, or youth programs teaching roles.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Certification in first aid and CPR from a recognized organization.
• Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with early childhood education practices and activity planning for young children.
• Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality.
• Passion for nurturing children's growth in a safe, supportive environment.
