We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, ensuring their well-being and comfort. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, observation, and monitoring, as well as the ability to create a nurturing environment for those with varying needs, including individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
• Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of patients.
• Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
• Observe and report changes in patients' conditions or behaviors to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents in a group home setting.
• Support patients with daily activities, encouraging independence while providing necessary assistance.
• Engage patients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Administer CPR and first aid when necessary, following established protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in patient care or working in a group home setting is preferred.
• Driving preferred.
• Strong skills in patient observation and monitoring to identify changes in health status.
• Ability to perform basic cooking tasks while adhering to dietary restrictions.
• Knowledge of vital signs measurement techniques is an asset.
• Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for this role.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
