Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As a Caregiver, you will provide day-to-day support to our residents, assisting them with personal care and daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort.

You will work as part of a supportive care team under the guidance of nursing staff to ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and high-quality care.

Ngā Responsibilities Matua | Key Responsibilities

·         Provide personal care assistance (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)

·         Support residents with meals and hydration

·         Assist with mobility and daily activities

·         Observe and report any changes in residents’ wellbeing

·         Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

·         Work collaboratively with nurses and other care staff

·         Support residents with kindness, patience, and respect

Mōu | About You

·         A caring and compassionate nature

·         Strong teamwork and communication skills

·         Reliable, responsible, and willing to learn

·         Previous caregiving experience is an advantage but not essential

·         Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and evenings

·         Is Level 4 qualified
