Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction.
• Ensure the safety of children at all times through vigilant supervision and adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers.
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, activities, and any concerns.
• Plan educational activities that support childhood development milestones and early learning standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that complies with health regulations and promotes hygiene practices.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Prior childcare experience including babysitting, daycare work, or preschool teaching is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise children effectively across different age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children.
• Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare.
• Ability to plan engaging activities tailored to children's developmental needs.

Pay: $23.93 - $28.82 per hour
