Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings such as group homes, assisted living facilities, or private residences. Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
• Assist with mobility, including heavy lifting when required.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.

Skills

• Experience in group home or home health settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of senior care practices and meal preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with CPR techniques and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to create and follow detailed care plans effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact compassionately with clients and families.
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy is maintained.
• Previous experience in assisted living environments is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
