Duties

• Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety.
• Support children’s development through engaging activities that promote early childhood education, behavior management, and social skills.
• Provide specialized care for infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and age-appropriate play.
• Implement care plans tailored to individual needs while maintaining a safe environment at all times.
• Support individuals with disabilities by helping with mobility, communication, and personal care tasks.
• Encourage participation in educational activities like teaching basic skills or classroom routines in daycare or preschool settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with families or team members about progress or concerns.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are required to ensure safety during emergencies.
• Experience with behavior management techniques and working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate caregiving while maintaining professionalism and patience.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, team members, and clients.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and maintain a positive attitude in dynamic environments.
