Duties/Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Strong observation and reporting skills
• Respect for client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
• Experience assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Ability to provide companionship and emotional support
• Knowledge of safety procedures and infection control practices
• Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping skills
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
• Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those with chronic conditions preferred
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Proven experience working with seniors.
