Caregiver Responsibilities

Depending on the individual client’s care plan, responsibilities may include:

• Bathing and personal hygiene assistance
• Toileting assistance
• Dressing and grooming assistance
• Mobility and walking assistance
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping
• Light laundry and linen changes
• Light meal preparation
• Companionship and conversation
• Transportation and accompaniment to appointments
• Errands and grocery shopping
• Supervision and general daily assistance
• Providing dependable and compassionate support to our clients

• Be dependable, reliable and punctual
• Be compassionate and patient
• Have a strong work ethic
• Have their own reliable transportation
• Be willing and able to travel to assigned clients
• Be able to pass a background check
• Communicate professionally with clients, families and the Lovely Day Healthcare team
• Take pride in providing excellent care
• Be committed to scheduled shifts and the clients depending on them
